Abstract

The information age has ushered in a new technological revolution, providing richer spatial, experiential, and feedback forms for visual design through new media technologies in public spaces. Application of new media prototype design can enhance visual experiences significantly, particularly in the design of social public spaces, enabling the creation of dimensional artistic modes and the shaping of spatial scenarios. This paper analyzes the characteristics and advantages of visual perspective-based prototype design of new media in public spaces. It explores design patterns to facilitate the transformation and development of new media in public spaces, enhancing urban cultural taste and innovation in public art, and constructing more inclusive and interactive urban public spaces.
