In the new era of intelligent technology, the impact on the younger generation is significant; however, the effects on the psychology and behavior of the elderly should not be underestimated. By engaging with and utilizing modern intelligent technologies, many elderly individuals are able to enrich their leisure time, enhance their social cognition, improve their interpersonal communication skills, and find pleasure for both body and mind, ultimately achieving a sense of happiness on a spiritual level. Given the overall improvement in the material living conditions and social security for the elderly in China today, this study aims to explore how to enhance the environment through the more rational use of intelligent technology in this rapidly evolving digital landscape. The goal is to facilitate their daily lives and entertainment options, thereby providing psychological satisfaction and spiritual fulfillment, which can lead to increased happiness in their later years. Additionally, this research will address the influence of modern intelligent technology on the elderly and society as a whole, proposing strategies to enhance the well-being of community-based elder care.
