The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is known to have brought about crucial impacts on many aspects of human life, disproportionately impacting ethnic minorities. Throughout this paper, the instance of Hispanics in the US was delved into so as for the consequences of the pandemic on their education to be realized. This bibliographical research revealed that ethnic inequalities against Hispanics are prevalent in all educational stages, including enrollment, studying, and graduation. The factors leading to such results, especially during the pandemic, are indicated as racism, inadequate healthcare and education, and financial hardships this ethnic minority disproportionately deals with. Their mental health is also examined as a potential factor influencing educational disparities, revealing unexpectedly positive outcomes primarily attributed to the substantial cultural value of familism. Complementing this analysis, an empirical investigation further validates the disparities in college enrollment across racial and ethnic groups during the period 2003-2022, emphasizing the multifaceted educational inequalities faced by minority communities.
