Abstract

In the digital era, the international dissemination of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) presents both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges. The global expansion of TCM necessitates the cultivation of professionals who are proficient in digital communication, possess strong foreign language skills, and have a deep understanding of TCM. However, current educational frameworks often fall short in addressing these needs, with limited specialized programs, insufficient integration of digital tools, and a lack of comprehensive curricula that bridge the gap between traditional knowledge and modern communication methods. To overcome these challenges, it is imperative to develop targeted strategies that enhance the quality and scope of TCM education. Expanding specialized programs and training capacities will ensure a steady pipeline of qualified professionals. Simultaneously, optimizing and innovating curricula to incorporate digital communication skills and interdisciplinary knowledge will better equip students for the complexities of global dissemination. Furthermore, developing interactive digital resources, such as virtual platforms and online learning modules, will facilitate practical learning experiences and broaden access to TCM education worldwide. These measures are essential for fostering a new generation of TCM professionals capable of effectively promoting Chinese medicine on the global stage.
