Abstract

The commonly used aluminum frames for photovoltaic modules are high in cost, high in energy consumption, and low in mechanical properties. The double-beam alloy steel frame can make up for these deficiencies, but the surface of its galvanized magnesium-aluminum alloy is prone to black spots, requiring a protective coating. Due to the difficulty of paint adhesion on the surface of zinc-magnesium-aluminum substrate, this paper independently developed a single-component high weather-resistant fluorocarbon coating in a zinc-aluminum-magnesium-fluorocarbon anchoring system. Under the same pretreatment, the effects of this coating combined with four different substrates on performance were explored. The results show that after ternary phosphating, the A4 substrate has a 3-5μm phosphating film attached, which performs well. After various aging tests, there were no abnormalities in appearance, adhesion, etc., and it exhibited good performance in salt spray resistance, UV resistance, and other experiments. The modules assembled with it passed the double IEC61215 test and also withstood the test of Super Typhoon Yagi.
