Against the backdrop of deepening vocational education reform and vigorously promoting the spirit of labor, the 1+X Certificate System provides a new integrative opportunity and developmental framework for labor education in higher vocational colleges. This paper thoroughly analyzes the inherent compatibility between the 1+X Certificate System and labor education, and points out the challenges currently faced by labor education in higher vocational institutions in terms of goal orientation, content integration, implementation mechanisms, and evaluation systems. On this basis, systematic implementation pathways are proposed: constructing a “dual-core driven” objective system to achieve the synergistic development of vocational skills and labor literacy; developing a modular curriculum guided by certificates and permeated with labor education; innovating a practical teaching model characterized by “alternating work and study, project-led learning”; building a teacher and resource platform based on “school-enterprise co-cultivation and multi-stakeholder collaboration”; and establishing a diversified evaluation system that incorporates “process + outcome, certificate + literacy”. This study provides theoretical and practical references for the high-quality development of labor education in higher vocational institutions in the new era.
