Abstract

From the perspective of “Five Educations Integration” and based on the theoretical foundation of the “Five Educations and Five Transformations” education model of Qingdao Binhai University, this study explores the construction strategies and implementation of the school-based curriculum system of Chinese Culture (in English). The research proposes a curriculum system of “one center, two guidances, three-dimensional linkage, and five educations integration”. Through the innovative design of curriculum objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, and the evaluation system, the effectiveness of this model in improving students’ cross-cultural communication ability, cultural confidence, and practical ability has been verified through practical cases. The research results show that this curriculum system not only helps to cultivate high-quality applied English talents with an international perspective but also provides a referential practice for the reform of school-based curriculum for English majors in colleges and universities.
