Research on the Integration of Traditional Techniques and Modern Aesthetics in Lacquer Painting Art Creation

Abstract
Lacquer painting represents an important form within traditional Chinese art and shows development across thousands of years, and this work contains profound cultural meaning. The rise of modern art produces conflict between traditional lacquer painting methods and contemporary features of appearance, and this indicates that finding a path combining the two requires attention. This study examines the influence that occurs between traditional lacquer painting methods and modern features of appearance and considers strategies that allow combination. The analysis examines the historical background, the process of making work, and the symbolic meanings that traditional methods contain, and this combines with the diversification that modern features of appearance show and innovation in form, and effective paths appear for combination that includes method preservation and innovation, fusion of visual language, and combination across different fields. The findings indicate that an organic combination of traditional methods and modern features of appearance not only increases the space for expression that lacquer painting provides but also supports the rebirth and development that this art form shows in modern society.
