Objective: To evaluate the cosmetic efficacy of botulinum toxin type A injection combined with hyaluronic acid filler for wrinkle reduction. Methods: A total of 70 patients admitted for wrinkle reduction between October 2024 and December 2025 were enrolled as study subjects. Patients were divided into a control group and a study group based on treatment protocols, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received hyaluronic acid filler alone, while the study group received botulinum toxin type A injection combined with hyaluronic acid filler. The severity scores of wrinkles, incidence of complications, and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: Compared with the control group, the study group showed lower severity scores of wrinkles and higher satisfaction levels at 3 months post-treatment (both P<0.05). The overall complication incidence was not significantly different between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Botulinum toxin type A injection combined with hyaluronic acid filler effectively reduces wrinkle severity in patients without increasing safety risks, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction.
