Gene editing technologies: e.g. CRISPR-Cas9 applications and developments
Dear colleagues,
This special issue focuses on the groundbreaking advancements in gene editing technologies, particularly highlighting the CRISPR-Cas9 system. The issue will encompass a wide range of topics related to CRISPR-Cas9, including its mechanisms of action, applications in agriculture for crop improvement, therapeutic potential in treating genetic disorders, and implications for biotechnology and medicine. Researchers and experts are invited to contribute original research articles, reviews, and case studies that explore both the current state and future directions of CRISPR-Cas9 applications. This special issue aims to promote knowledge dissemination and foster discussions on the transformative impact of gene editing technologies in science and society. Authors should submit their manuscripts for the special issue by emailing them as an attachment to specialissue@hillpublish.com or by using the online submission system. The manuscript should be submitted by one of the authors, and submissions by anyone other than the authors will not be accepted. Additionally, the submitted manuscript should include a cover letter that specifies the special issue to which the manuscript is being submitted.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). The submitted papers should be properly formatted and written in fluent English. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process.
