Special Issue
Dear Colleagues,
Mental health is a critical issue in contemporary society, affecting individuals across diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. As societal pressures, inequalities, and global challenges intensify, understanding mental health disparities and promoting well-being for all social groups has become an urgent priority. Addressing mental health requires a multidisciplinary approach that considers psychological, social, cultural, and structural factors.
In this special issue of the Journal of Humanities, Arts and Social Science (JHASS), we aim to explore the complexities of mental health across different social groups in modern society. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that examine mental health from interdisciplinary perspectives, including psychology, sociology, public health, cultural studies, and policy analysis.
We invite researchers and practitioners to submit original research articles, reviews, and perspectives related to mental health. We are particularly interested in papers that address the following topics:
• Mental health disparities and social determinants
• Resilience and mental health across diverse populations
• Stigma, discrimination, and mental health awareness
• Cultural influences on mental health perceptions and practices
• Mental health in marginalized and vulnerable groups
• Workplace mental health and organizational well-being
• Digital mental health and technology-mediated interventions
• Policy and advocacy for equitable mental health care
Authors should submit their manuscripts for the special issue by emailing them as an attachment to specialissue@hillpublish.com or by using the online submission system. The manuscript should be submitted by one of the authors, and submissions by anyone other than the authors will not be accepted. Additionally, the submitted manuscript should include a cover letter that specifies the special issue to which the manuscript is being submitted.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). The submitted papers should be properly formatted and written in fluent English. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Guidelines page.
